Steve has worked hard to take care of each client’s financial needs. He takes pride in giving sound financial advice while taking the client’s personal goals and needs to heart. His advice tends to be on the safe and conservative side while looking at both short term and long term financial positions for the client.

Steve is a native to the Triangle, having moved to the town of Cary in 1972. He attended Cary schools, including graduating from Cary High School in 1982. He lettered in both Basketball and Baseball at Cary. Upon graduation, Steve attended Atlantic Christian College on a baseball scholarship and graduated from Atlantic Christian in the spring of 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance.

Steve is married to Dana Bumgarner Satterwhite. They have two wonderful children and still reside in Cary NC. He started his career in the mortgage brokerage business in November 1997 and opened Satterwhite Financial in November of 2000.
